Tendering & Funding

Works with a number of clients advising on tender proposals, funding applications and the tendering process. Led on tendering and funding projects successfully managing stakeholders contributions in order to deliver value for money in the education, regeneration and business enterpise sectors.

 

Training

Delivered training on public sector procurement to small businesses on how to find and win contracts. Developed and delivered trainig to 150 staff for a public sector organisation on the essentials of procurement.

Project Management

Procurement project management in delivering several small and large projects for public sector organisations including business process changes to increase efficiencies in comming services and goods. Worked with a public bodies on commissioning several regeneration, business support and youth development projects.

 

Supply Chain Management

Works with both buyers and suppliers on supply chain strategies and delivers training on public sector tendring. Developed policies for a public sector organisation with a focus on engaging with SME's and minority businesses. Worked with the London based public authorities on developing collaborative procurement efficiencies on the Delivering More Together programme.

 

Contract Management

Worked in several industries managing contracts valued up to £5m. Successfully managed complex data management contracts for the electricity industry during the decommissioning of the wholesale electricity market.

 

Sustainable Procurement

Developed the sustainable procurement business case for a public sector body that aims to addres sustainable factors in purchasing and supplying goods and services. Taken part in 'Meet the Buyer' events engaging with SMEs and minority businesses that are keen to engage witht he public sector.

 

Business Advice

Working with clients on strategies to start up and grow their business. Worked with a not-for-profit organisation that delivers youth development programmes advising how they can formalise the structure, secure funding and grow as an organisation.
